Meeting Location
6573 Park Blvd Joshua Tree, CA
This location is conveniently located in the village of Joshua Tree, 7 miles from the West Entrance Station of the National Park. Across the street is the National Park Visitor Center, and a great sandwich shop for picnic supplies. We almost always meet folks outside the Park because there is no reliable cell coverage within the Park, and we want to stick together for our allotted time. Since your tour could take place in a variety of locations within the Park, it is possible your guide could recommend meeting elsewhere based on the specifics of your outing.
From the meeting location, you will drive your vehicle behind your guide's pilot car into the National Park to start your tour. Drive time into the Park and to the trailhead will take between 30-45 minutes, but will vary if visiting multiple locations. Your vehicle pass to enter the National Park is not included in the price of our tour. If you would like to save a few minutes at the entrance station, please visit nps.gov to purchase your pass online, or speak to your guide ahead of time if you need further assistance.
Enjoy Your Guided Dream Day!
The reason you are here! You can expect your guide to be friendly and highly knowledgeable about your surroundings, and to select a hike that is appropriate for your skill level. Your guide will reveal a side of the park you would be unlikely to encounter on your own, and you will gain a profound appreciation for how nature takes shape in the Mojave Desert. After your time together concludes, your guide will lead you towards your next destination in the National Park or toward the exit. It is customary to offer a gratuity to your guide if they provide an excellent experience, and tips are greatly appreciated.
